It is definitely curable in majority of cases. It is a borderline case for giving chemotherapy following surgery. Few patients will benefit while others will not. The need for chemotherapy is decided by doing a test known as MSI or micro satellite instability on the tumour tissue.

Dear lybrate-user. If you any abnormal symptoms then see a gastroenterologist, who will decide for colonoscopy which is a office procedure. In which the doctor see inner side of the large intestine. Definitely small lesions are sometimes not picked up on imaging. Colonoscopy is the best to see them.
