Colostomy is opening of intestines to bypass obstruction, it is not a radical treatment. If acute emergency then go for colostomy, otherwise first treat septicaemia with antibiotics then only go for surgery.

Dear Sir, There is lot of improvements in the treatment of colorectal cancer. For liver metastases, the treatment has to be individualised. What we follow at our hospital is a customised approach. To reduce the pain and discomfort of open surgery, laparoscopy can be safely done in colon cancer. The recovery is faster and less painful

Fissure is usually due to hard stools. Usually it is not associated with colon cancer.
Rarely, if colon cancer leads to constipation and hard stools, then it may lead to fissure.
Rectal cancers are associated with piles due to blockage of the rectal veins by the tumour.
