Better to show to a general surgeon or a gastroenterologist if you are having those symptoms. If bleeding, most commonly it is due to piles or fissure. If a local cause is found, they would treat the same. They would do a colonoscopy / upper GI Scopy if no local cause is found and Biopsy if a growth is seen.

Get an lower giscopy done and follow up with reports and Avoid spicy food items and not to eat junk food and we also need to avoid peanuts and potatoes in our daily diet.

It is definitely curable in majority of cases. It is a borderline case for giving chemotherapy following surgery. Few patients will benefit while others will not. The need for chemotherapy is decided by doing a test known as MSI or micro satellite instability on the tumour tissue.

Colon cancer can be detected by colonoscopy or Contrast enhanced CT Scan of Abdomen and Pelvis for which you have to visit a doctor.

sorry to hear about your father.
He is 84 and has lived over the average expectancy of an individual.
At this point we should consider quality of life rather than cure for cancer since he is old and cancer has spread.
If he is symptomatic for Colon cancer he should be operated for the colonic mass to give him relief.
Laparoscopic surgery or Robotic surgery is preferable.

If she is suffering from ist stage Ca colon first she will need surgery after surgery histopathology report will decide further treatment.

After complete treatment for rectal cancer, patient should follow up with cancer surgeon every 3 monthly for first 2 years, then 6 monthly for next 3 years, then yearly thereafter. At every visit patient should get CEA and ultasonography done.
Other than this if patient has persistent pain while passing motion, difficulty in passing motion or if there is blood in stools, then the patient needs to show to a surgical oncologist immediately.

the history you are giving, it means you had very early stage of cancer which was completely resected out. Also there was no abdominal lymph node involvement. In such no chemotherapy is required but timely suprvision is needed, you should consider that you are cured from this trouble after surgery.
