The hip is a ball-and-socket joint in the human body. Normally, the ball located at the upper part of the thighbone (femur) firmly fits into the socket, which is a part of the pelvis bone. In people, especially children and babies, who have Developmental Dysplasia of Hips (DDH), the ball does not fit the socket perfectly. Therefore, the hip joint is not formed completely and is likely to dislocate easily.

There is a point in any painful disease like yours that continuing taking pills doesn't do an effective job. And there is no pill absolutely none that is safe beyond a year and half of use. All of them affect organs and can cause permanent damage. You probably need a surgical remedy and I would recommend seeing a surgeon for the same.

Hi lybrate-user,
I appreciate you seeking help. Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder. Surgery cannot completely cure the same but it can help treat complications arising out of neurofibromas, if any. However, Neurofibromatosis can be controlled successfully using natural medicine, and appropriate dietary/ nutrition support which can slow down/ arrest the disease progression as contextually possible. You can consult with complete details, for further traction. Take care & best wishes.
