Hello. Lybrate user. After cleft lip and palate surgery, there are procedures like speak therapy to guide speaking normally. It will gradually get normal. Cleft palate is a genetic condition and developmental disorder. It is not compulsory to affect the unborn child. I advice you to consult a general physician regarding, cleft lip of mom and child. 1. You put some weight so the face becomes larger due to fat (You wouldn't want to spoil the rest of your body with fat though)
2. Reconstructive surgery (Is costly, painful, risky and if you do not actually like the end result there is no going back to original)
So what to do? Umm ... Listen to me closely ... There are a lot and a lot of people around the world who would love to see a person with a cute little face like you so keep it pretty...more
