If there is no problem then no need. But if prepuce is tight you can go for circumcision so that there is no sexual intercourse related problem.

Pain and swelling after circumcision is normal.
Swelling increases by day 3 and then gradually subsides. Keep applying neosporin.
You can add oral antibiotics and painkiller syrup.
Only watch for urinary retention.
If your baby dsnt pass urine, or the swelling dsnt subside by one week after surgery. Then consult your surgeon.

Hi lybrate-user, I hope your hb% and lfts are ok and withtin normal limits. If not then, we need to correct them first. If normal, then it will be essential to review the wound by the operating surgeon. I think, it will subside with time by the help of proper care, nutrition and rest.
