Paste a big picture of smokers lungs in contrast with healthy lungs. And may be draw a big picture of ear with smoke coming out of it. Place it somewhere where he can see, esp while smoking. Try him to shift to nicotine chewing gums and gradually leave it.
Hypnotherapy is also very effective.

Dear, the earlier you can stop this habit, the healthier it can be for you. The lower taste and sinful habit of alcohol or smoking can be stopped by replacing it with the higher taste. Simply read nice books which give you a higher meaning to life than chemicals in alcohol. In place of alcohol, spend your time by doing yoga and Chant the names of God Who you have faith in.

Dear user. I can understand. Tobacco is addictive. Cigarette also contains 4000+ carcinogenic chemicals other than nicotine. Smoking can affect your mouth, throat, lungs, heart, stomach and brain in many ways. Cancer is one among the potential diseases smoking can cause. The best method is to leave it and continue with your will power. There are other methods like Nicotine Replacement therapy and pharmacotherapy combined. Dear Debajyoti, There are several reason which can decrease sperm count:-
1. Obesity-Low sperm count is associated with having more body fat and a higher BMI (body mass index). Obesity lowers testosterone levels, which drive sperm production.
2. Smoking-Smoking cigarettes has been proven to decrease fertility in men. It affects sperm volume, sperm count, and sperm motility, its ability to swim.
3. Alcohol-Chronic alcohol abuse has been linked to infertility.
