Cancer is an abnormal growth of cells which tend to proliferate in an uncontrolled way and, in some cases, to metastasize (spread). When it involves pancreas (an organ related to insulin formation in human body, it is termed as pancreatic cancer. Pancreas also produces enzyme that help indigestion.
You can consult a local doctor for this. A big NO to self medication.

I had undergone a Gall bladder removal surgery last 7 days back. There is no pain right now. They have put 4 holes. They said Stitches ll automatically fall down within 2 weeks. But am facing an issue past 2 days. When I sleep in the night and while getting up in the morning I could notice some blood discharge near the naval where the stitches have put. Is anything to worry? When we asked doctor he said nothing to worry. Am concerned about it.

Every medicene has side effects.Sugar free tablet daily allowance is 16 tablets.No body takes that much tablets. 2 or 3 tablets are quite safe.Long term side effects don't matter,as no body lives that age.

Sir, At the outset please accept my greetings and salutations. May I have your valued opinion regarding my sister who was initially diagnosed with Burkit's lymphoma and was treated with CODOX-M/IVAC four cycles .PET revealed a near complete remission ,however, the disease relapsed within a month. She was later put on R-CHOP two cycles, although negative for CD20. Of late she is now being treated with Nivolumab ,three doses of 200 mg each administered, third is due for tomorrow. They have a diagnostic dilemma, now treating it as Plasmablastic lymphoma. I'm extremely confused ,my sister has uncontrolled ascites inflicting severe discomfort. May I solicit your advice as to what should I do further in order to get get relieved of this difficult situation. Hi lybrate-user, if there is diagnostic dilemma. We can always go for re histopathology and ihc evaluation on first biopsy block and compare those with relapsed biopsy block, I hope might be this may help you. If the disease has relapsed in one month of treatment, this it must be some high grade lymphoma. Cytogenetics and protein electrophoresis can also help you diagnosis.

If indicated I131 should be given.
Recently revised rates of radioactive Iodine has come.
Treatment cost depends upon the dose of I131 ti be used and it can go up to the level you mentioned in metro cities.

No biopsy could be done due to swelling in my oesophagus, and after having medicines i. E lansoprazole, clarithromycin and tinidazole, no improvement is noticed. Need I go for biopsy of easophaegas. Please help.

Have you tried changing your diet along with the medication? Are there any other symptoms you are experiencing?
H pylori usually causes gastritis and ulceration. In most cases, taking antacids helps with the symptoms. Long term unhealed ulcers may shape up to become cancerous. Having an endoscopy done and if required a biopsy is not harmful.

Hello! My grandpa had esophageal cancer had has undergone a surgery one year back but we did not do the chemotherapy as her age is 65 above. Now she experiences loss of appetite, vomiting, regurgitation, indigestion, weakness. Doctor said that some part of her digestive tract has swollen up so are there any chances of growth of cancer cells once again?
