Dear sir/madam, I have been suffering with spasticity in lower limbs (left greater than right, from mild to moderate, mild urinal urgency) for last 10 years but I can walk independently without any assistance (though have issue with my gait ). This was a very sudden onset in 2010, I was travelling from one place to the other and next day I complained for stiffness in most lower left leg (calf muscles). When I consulted neurologist for the first time, they said it is a case of Ms. (multiple sclerosis) but later I consulted another neurologist who after studying my case said it is a form of hsp (hereditary spastic paraplegia). Nothing substantial came out as per them in my mri reports, no oligoclonal bands in csf etc. I just want to know what should be the right steps forward here? For last 10 years my condition has not worsened but is there any cure for such cases. Can my dorsiflexion issue in left leg get improved? P.s:this would be helpful if some neurologist can respond to it. I would be more happy if Lybrate can fwd my query to a gurgaon based neurologist. So, that later I can seek an appointment with the same doctor.

Pancreas are a small, but a pretty important part of a person s digestive system. So when it needs to be removed, the reason has got to be quite serious, to say the least, doesn t it? The procedure is known formally as pancreatectomy and it is most often required for people who are suffering from cancer of the pancreas. Ideally, these people would only need the cancerous tumours removed, but things are not always this simple. As a matter of fact, only a little more than a tenth of the people who...more
