Je 1 vaccine is for japanese encephalitis fever caused by mosquitos which is responsible for brain swelling and high fever. It is more prevalent in northern india including eastern u.p.,bihar, jharkhand and assam. No cases were reported in southern india. Therefore this vaccine is not provided in kerala.
