Asked for female, 2 years old from Dehradun

Given vaccine quadrovax and prevnar. After 30 min I gave her combiflam. She slept and after 2 hours she vomited twice. Is it because of vaccine or combiflam. What to do please suggest.

Vomiting could be just like that either due to crying after vaccine or could be due to combiflam.In either case just neglect it is only temporary.

My daughter is 4.5 month old, she has problem of vomiting throughout the day. Only stop in sleep. We only give mother milk but we don't understand what is actually cause either liver problem or gastritis or something other. I gave her ondem drop and perinorm drop but no benefit find. Problem is still remain. Weight is 6 kg. please advice me for treatment.

This is not vomiting ans is called possetting .Happens in all babies as the muscle (GES) is not strong. All you have to do is burp well and put baby on left side after burping .Weight is good. Do not give drops.

This is very tender age n r more prone to develop complications. He has taken already antibiotics for more than sufficient time with no satisfaction results. It is advisable to consult pediatrician for proper examination n tt. U can safely instill saline nasal drop in each nostrils 3 to 4 times in a day.

Formaule feed is tailor made for small babies where as cow milk is for calves. It is heavy for baby to digest. Stay with formulae feed ie lactogen.

Yes if it is chew-able one, and for kids then it can be given to him but you would like to strongly recommend going for natural sources of calcium like milk, milk product, ragi, bananas and whole grains. That would be more helpful than any kind of supplements.

He has taken just 4 times of normal dose of paracetamol for this age. I don't think it may harm. Give him good quantity of water and keep watching for any abnormal activities. If so, consult pediatrician. Side effects shall pass away after 8 to 12 hours.

The usual recommendation is to give 2 hourly feed and we ax also recommend demand feed. That is, if the baby does not feed after 2 hours, leave him and feed when he feels hungry instead of sticking a 2 hour time table.
