Take him to dermatologist. Even if you think it is chicken pox it need antiviral treatment for complete eradication. If something else dermatologist will findout and treat accordingly.

Small pox is not there in this world except the virus preserved in 2 laboratories- you may give plenty of water/fresh vegetables/fruits to him//don’t give oily fried or junk food/let him rest in a clean dry room with good ventilation//give symptomatic and supportive treatment by consultation with a local doctor/give him plenty of carbohydrates rich ethnic food//keep him happy and confident by supporting him; chit chatting with him-ok—don’t expose him to extreme cold or hot weather—ok.

The best treatment for atrophic scars is laser. So please consult a dermatologist nearby to proceed with laser therapy. Chemical peels are of little use.

The scars of the chicken pox rash are produced when at the time of infection there was excessive scratching. There are multiple treatment options for reducing the scars like aloe vera gel, vit e, rosehip oil and various ointments for lightening the scar which can only be prescribed after looking at the scars amd their intensity. Kindly consult for the same.

It should usually decrease as the time passes on but if not then you might need to consult with a dermatologist.
