I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
It's most commonly seen in women aged 20 to 50. It usually causes high temperature and pain in the neck, jaw or ear. The thyroid gland can also release too much thyroid hormone into the blood (thyrotoxicosis), leading to symptoms of an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism). These symptoms settle after a few days.

Impacts to the groin area during physical activity or from falling on your rear can bruise, tear, or rip your perineum, causing a lump there. A lump can also result from chronic injuries to the nerves, blood vessels, and skin from pressure caused by sitting for long periods of time.

Dear lybrate-user,
it is very common for patients with hypothyroidism to forget medicines on 2-3 days a month. I feel this may be the reason why your recent tsh has gone up to 17.85. Make sure you take the tablet every single day on an empty stomach. You can keep it in the bathroom shelf so that you can take it as soon as you brush your teeth. In case you forget on an occasional day, take it anyway when you remember later in the day. If you forget for a whole day take the extra dose the next...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the query, which is very general. I do understand that you are on treatment for hypothyroidism. But neither dosage is mentioned nor T4 & TSH levels are given. Plus I am unable to understand what do you mean by "bumps on my tongue". What is your weight and height? Have checked the lipid profile? Is theere any size increase in thyroid gland? Please come back with specific answers or full information. Hypothyroidism is a hormone(Thyroxine) deficiency, i...more
