Regards Lybrate user. Pain in the shoulder & left arm may occur due to referred pains from neck, heart, at times stomach. If there is pain or limitation of movements in the neck and if the neck pain worsens proportionately with the shoulder/arm pain, they both could be related. Regards Lybrate user. Neck pain due to degeneration (i.e. Spondylosis) is a slow gradual process. With the given information, the reduction of weight may appear to be an entirely different issue. Weight loss may occur secondary to reduced appetite or food intake. It is recommended to consult your physician or nutritionist to follow up recovery from weight loss. Active exercises as tolerated (as simple as regular walking), will help increase metabolism and may assist in improving appetite too.
