Diagnosed with adenomyosis. 44 years. Taking ponstan forte but still having abdominal cramps and pelvic pressure. Lmp aug 28. Is adenomyosis getting worse? Since two months taking ponstan does’t seem to help. Irregular periods.

treatment for adenomyosis is either hysterectomy or cyclical progesterone therapy or mirena insertion ( type of iud releasing levonorgestrel).
as you're 44 yrs ,if pain is severe you can go for hysterectomy.Or you can take progesterone tablets cyclicaly ,it will relief you of pain .

Hi doctor I had mild cramp pain right from last one week, and my periods was occurring 5 days before date of every month after second delivery and my normal bleeding was before 2 or 3 days but now 5 days so I visited gynecologist she told me to take urine test it was normal and hemoglobin normal, and for my satisfaction I took abdomen pelvis scan it is showing mild hepatomegaly with grade 1 fatty infiltration and mildly bulky uterus I have two kids age 33, can anyone suggest is anything issue or it's normal which can be treated please.

Hi, I have adenomyosis. I was on fibroease 25 mg and sevista 60 mg once weekly for 1. 5 years. Last march in 2nd week I have stopped the medicines. Now in last week of may, I had rectal bleeding, so my local doctor advised me to take pause mf for 3 days and I was just about to start my 1st day of period after 1 year, but because of pause mf I could not. I took pause mf because of rectal bleeding. Now my question is after how many days will I have my periods as I have stopped all the medication?

The rectal bleeding is a different problem altogether. The cause could be piles or fissure. Some lifestyle changes would also be required. As for periods, it will come on time but a repeat usg is important to assess the present status.

You need to do urine pregnancy test. It should be done 10 days after missing your period. For example if your date was 10th, then do the test on 20th. Before that it can give false negative or false positive test. If its negative then need to do sonography.
