They are meant to correct distance (or near), different distances, with same IOL and the astigmatism. Your life style, visual needs and the budget decides this. All IOLs today are great. Indian IOLs are also very good. So, get the IOL work station work up done before surgery, and based upon their results your your visual needs you can discuss with your doctor. Monovision is one of the great ways to increase binocular depth of field.
