Hello lybrate-user. I feel you should give some time and rest your eyes. Usually, there is minor inflammation in the eye that normally occurs after surgery. It tends to settle down in 2 weeks. So allow the eyes to settle and then it would be better idea to jump to any conclusion. It is possible that this issue will get resolved by itself within 2 weeks time. Hello. After any surgery, it takes 2 to 3 weeks for the eyes to get back to their normal state. Thus, I would advice you to relax and not worry so much. Likewise, it would be a good idea to mention your complains to your operating surgeon as well. In that way, he/she would be able to solve any such doubts. Last but not the least, it is normal to have such symptoms immediately after cataract surgery so most probably, it should not be of any major concern. Hope my suggestions helped you.

todays cataract surgery is predominantly blood-less so there is hardly any chance of bleeding as surgery is usually performed using anaesthetic drops and without any injection.
only thing that you need to take care is have a proper physician checkup before you plan surgery
and have a anaesthetic standby
