Klebsiella pneumoniae is a difficult infection to treat because of the organism's thick capsule. Klebsiella is best treated with third- and fourth-generation cephalosporins, quinolones, or carbapenems. Monotherapy is just as effective as a combination treatment in klebsiella pneumoniae because newer agents are used.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user
thanks a lot for your kind query. My suggestion is that you can continue with the set of treatments as prescribed by your oncologist. Please do not go to a lot of doctors as you might be misinformed and you would loose money by the end. The survival rate for stage 3 oral cancer is betwen 60-65%.
Please take care of the person and keep the person well nourished and hydrated. It would be difficult to chew, so soft food can help.
Thanks & regards Dr. Danny devasy.

Tongue cancer is highly curable when it is detected early, but it can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated early. Over time, it may spread to other sites in the mouth, other areas of the head and neck, or other parts of the body.

There is no drug therapy that can cure mf. The only potential cure for mf is allogeneic stem cell transplantation. But this procedure is risky for older patients and those with other health problems. Because mf primarily affects older adults, a stem cell transplantation is not a treatment option for most mf patients.

Most of these mistakes are harmless, but a small fraction of them occur in a gene that will kick-start a cell's uncontrollable replication, leading to cancer. In other words, most of the mutations that occur when our cells divide cause no damage. Occasionally, a mutation occurs in a cancer gene, leading to the disease.
