Asked for male, 35 years old from Pune

I have a two months old cesarean baby. He is perfectly alright. Now my question is when it will be possible to go for sex with my partner as she often feels pain inside the cesarean line. Or can we go for the intercourse keeping the pain aside. Please answer. Thank you.

Hello-
Pain signifies improper healing and may worsen or reopen the stitches due to sex. Its best to wait a month more and if still pain persist, consult your surgeon before going for sex.

Warm Soaks or Local Heat: If the wound is open, soak it in warm water or put a warm wet cloth on the wound for 20 minutes 3 times per day. Antibiotic Ointment: Apply an antibiotic ointment 3 times a day.

You should not do caesarean now and allow the baby to grow to 40 weeks or as close to it as possible . you have hyperacidity which is common in pregnancy and you can lie down on your left side and take Gelusil or Omeprazole if needed , I will always to advice to for normal delivery and CS only if there is absolute necessity as decided by your doctor

There should be a minimum of 18 months gap before trying for another pregnancy in a woman who has undergone a Caesarean section. You can start trying for another pregnancy now if you want.
