1. Do saline gargles daily (preferably twice). 2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also. 3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected. 4. Drink hot liquids --hot liquids relieve nasal congestion, prevent dehydration, and soothe the uncomfortably inflamed membranes that line your nose and throat. 5. Sleep with an extra pillow under your head-- elevating your head will help relieve congested nasal passages. If the angle is too awkward, try placing the pillows between the mattress and the box springs to create a more gradual slope. 6. Treat that stuffy nose with warm salt water-- salt-water rinsing helps break nasal congestion, while also removing virus particles and bacteria from your nose. 7. Blow your nose often (and the right way)-- it's important to blow your nose regularly when you have a cold rather than sniffling mucus back into your head. But when you blow hard, pressure can carry germ-carrying phlegm back into your ear passages, causing earache. The best way to blow your nose: press a finger over one nostril while you blow gently to clear the other. Homeopathic treatment has very encouraging results. Consult online for details.

Im having acute bronchitis, due to infection I have got cough and now from 2 days i'm getting wheezing. I'm using cepftas 200 n montek tablet. Can I get any remedy for cough.

Dear lybrate-user ji, it may be due to allergic bronchitis. Which occurs due to inflammation of bronchial tube by allergen. It should find out the allergen and should treat accordingly. The conventional method of treatment just gives the temporary relief and suppresses the immunity, which leads some other dangerous conditions. Homeopathy treats allergic bronchitis in two phases. In the first phase, the acute episode of allergic bronchitis is treated. In the second phase, these medicines stop the recurrence of allergic bronchitis. Homeopathy has got complete cure for allergic rhinitis by constitutional treatment and holistic approach. It naturally cures by improving the immunity of your body and stops the recurrence naturally. I suggest you to take an appointment for consultation so that detail case can be discussed and rule out the cause and proceed further for treatment. You can consult me online privately. Thank you.

Chronic Cough lasting more than a month not associated with any other physical complaint is most likely an allergic Cough. Most common allergens are dust, cold air, dry air, animal fur, bird droppings, moulds etc. If u have Weight loss, Fever , Blood in Cough, Sweating etc...it is suggestive of Infection....most likely TB. Act wisely.

You have dust allergy and need to avoid exposure by using a mask. Besides, you will have secondary infection and sputum culture and sputum afb test is to be done and then plan treatment.

Chronic cough and loss of appetite and weight are symptoms of which disease bronchitis or lung cancer.
You need to do certain tests to find out. Like cbc, x-ray chest and then mri or ct scan. If weight loss is there inspite of eating well n no other disease then you should not delay.
