Sometimes I feel like my breath have stopped for a second while lying on left or while sitting I feel like it is precordial catch syndrome. But whenever I google the results like angina, heart attack and other heart diseases scares me and makes me more anxious and worried I have consulted cardiologist in last year march but everything came out normal now again I think that something is wrong with my heart.

Hey lybrate-user just relax. It is more of anxiety issue rather than cardiac problem. And it is always best to consult md physician and avoid google. Try to do meditation and think of good things in life and create positivity to avoid anxiety episodes. If symptoms still persist, then you need medical treatment or else it will worsen. Hopefully this helps. You can consult me privately if required.

There are multiple causes for your health problem .your medical history is inadequate. Provide details like your weight, job nature, diet, lifestyle, sleep habits .stress etc .there are disease triggers in these things provide all blood test results and all other investigation test results like scan, echo, tmt etc, if you have done them medicine prescription list with doctors name and qualification not provided. This is to make sure if your Dr. is a good fit for your disease the root cause of your problem has not been diagnosed by your Dr. because he has not done the 4 inflammatory markers, 12 vitamin and 8 mineral levels blood tests. Free general advice will not work because finding your disease triggers and fixing them is time consuming. You only get what you pay treat the root cause of the disease and not the symptom or disease change diet, lifestyle and your doctor if you want a cure and not a control for your disease. If you are serious about your health ,value your health take a consultation and get a diet plan which will create wellness and heal your illness.

Do you have fever, cough?anyway, as the problem is for one month, you may have an x-ray chest (pa view) done or better consult a physician if available.

My mother is undergoing dialysis thrice in a week but she is getting breathing problem due to fluid accumulate in the lungs. Whether she can take dytor 2 to get rid of this.

Fluid overload is a common problem in patients with kidney diseases especially those on dialysis. The best solution to this is -restriction of liquid intake- you should restrict liquid including water, milk, tea, etc roughly equal to the amount of urine passed - reduce salt intake - regular dialysis - you can take tab dytor if your doctor thinks it would help you.

I get random chest pain (mostly left side) and shortness of breath (like shaking and feeling like I can not breath) and even tingling in my legs and arms. These events occur randomly (while playing basketball, sitting in a car, waking up in the middle of the night, after going on a run, and other random times). I have had blood tests, chest xray, ekg, echocardiogram and stress test and nothing abnormal except sinus bradycardia / sinus arrhythmia and on one ekg in july 2018 an incomplete right bundle branch block. Many doctors and cardiologist have said its nothing to be concerned about and think it is costochondritis/ anxiety and maybe even gerd (heartburn). I may also have a gluten or folic acid intolerance that runs in the family. I am worried this chest pain and shortness of breath is something more concerning. This chest pain also happened after smoking marijuana 4 years ago and has been present since. I stopped smoking ever since. Could the chest pain be related to the marijuana? Any ideas? Any other tests that you think need to be done? If so immediately or just in the future? Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user ,marijuana effect won't last for these long years. You need not worry as your symptoms are atypical and specially unrelated to activities. Still if you to clear your mind then go for tmt. My advice would be to join art of living or yoga class or meditation class.

I am a chronic smoker. I will give up smoking but I am unable to walk fast or run. If I do so, I am breathing very fast. How do I make to normal breathing? I am diabetic and got bp too. Pls help me.

First of all, it should be excluded whether you have got any heart (e.g. Ischaemic heart disease) or lung (e.g. Chronic bronchitis) problem. If any such is present then treatment of that condition should improve your walking/running. If your heart and lungs are ok then high blood sugar itself can limit your exercise capabilities, and blood sugar should be controlled. And last but not the least, cigarette smoking is notorious to invite many problems, especially of lungs and quitting smoking will improve your exercise tolerance much, though may not be immediately, but in the long run.

Appears to be anxiety issue, but better to consult physician. Avoid stress. Do meditation and exercises. Try to take deep breaths and rub hands during the episodes to abort it.

Dear Lybrate user, repeat of breathing difficulty can be due to continuing chest infection. Tests like cbc esr gbp and chest x ray can confirm the diagnosis. Wishing good health.
