Hello Doctor, Can Mental Stress or depression cause unintentionally weight loss from 105 kg to 87 kg in 6 months (3 kg in a month), if other reports are normal (TSH, Sugar, Cystoscopy, LFT, KFT, HIV, TB. I am facing weight loss without physical activity, tightness in middle of forehead, stomach became tight after consuming milk products and do not able void urine completely (urine retention) with blood and result to Prostatitis, Urologist says goes to psychiatrist, Test are normal, but I am thinking there is something else. What you advise and what to do to stop weight loss and void urine?

Sir my age is 20 and I'm suffering from a urinary problem so when a doctor consult for a cystoscopy test they found the urethra tube is clot at a point so they ask me for a operation. I feel normal all day but if I do some workout like gym then I suffer for many days with irritation and pain in lower abdominal and a very bad smell in urine, I feel it comes drop by drop always.

Please get the surgery done. Otherwise it will lead to recurrent infections and kidney problems. Surgery will not be a major thing. Better to prevent long term complications. Good luck.

I have severe uti infection and frequently urinate as scan report states my bladder gets full and when it is 80-150 ml, I have urge to urinate immediately. Last December I dilated my urethra as it was shrunk. Even after that cystoscopy I was okay only for a week. Please suggest me a good treatment. My scan reports are normal up to date. How about culture. They would have got the urine culture done. Basing on the sensitivity report, medication is advised. Take the medicines as a course. With this you should get relief. Apart from the medicines you need to take plenty of water atleast 3 litres of water in a day. Maintain proper hygiene of the genitals, washing the genitals with water after passing urine. Stricture can develop in urethra after instrumentation but infection chances are also there so get your urine complete examination done if pus cells present get the urine culture done and then see your treating doctor.

Hello sir My father underwent cataract surgery in left eye. The doctor told me that during the surgery he came to know that my father had posterior polar cataract. And during surgery cortex of lens was strongly adherent to posterior capsule. So he had to do anterior vitrectomyou also. After surgery he has blurred vision and now keratitis is cured after the medication. His vision is also improved after 5 days of surgery bt he says that he feels a horse shoe shaped black area in his visual field. . His retina is checked and it's normal. So what can be the reason for disabled black view? Should we wait for 1 month till the medication gets over or should we go for further investigation?Please tell.

Dear:-
posteriour polar cataract surgery needs better preplanned investigation (sle) to diagnosed accurately & manage accordingly.
As per your information, posterior capsule has been ruptured accidently. Posteriour capsule rupture will cause vitreous prolapse, keratitis, post. Op. Glaucoma, impairment of vision & other complication later also.
Through fundus examination is needed to exclude any retinal detachment or hole. Vitreous floater may be rule out also.

Sir before 4 months my morning erection goes out. But it some time come like 40% of time and (I am not done sex yet) After 15 days some infection in my urine. I feel some uncomfortable in penis. Urologist give me antibiotique for 1 month but no relief. So I decide done Cystoscopy and found infection and urethral structure. Doctor give antibiotics and cauterization for 5 days. And give again antibiotics for 1 month. But after this I found my morning erection totally goes out (25 days go). I feel some irritation in penis till now. I done all test in hospitalisation all are OK. But why my morning erection not come? Why I did not relief from infection after taking long term medicine (levofloxacin)?

Respected lybrate-user weight. Loss of 10 kg in 3 months is usually not correlating with pus in prostate. That requires further detail evaluation by physician. Cause of pus in prostate is bacterial infection only. Thanks

I have done cystoscopy and fine urethral stricture and infection (redness in urethra). Doctor open the urethra and give me antibiotics. But my question is I have lack of morning erection 50% days can it is due to this problem (but in normal time I have perfect erection) ?

While stricture problem has been sorted out, it has nothing to do with erection. If you are having normal erection otherwise, absence of early morning erection 50% of the time should not be a cause for worry. Early morning erection will not be there everyday.
