The level of improvement depends on the size of the infarct or bleed how big it was and the area of the brain affected whether critical area is affected or not. The area damaged due to brain stroke recovers on its own depending upon the severity of damage. The standard medicines are blood thinners (ecosprin and clopidogrel). Physiotherapy helps a lot. Do not have much idea of ayurveda or any alternative medicine. Till now there has been no drug/ method to reverse the neurological damage.
