From fever to migrain and from sinus to meningitis and then to head injury there are more than 100 different causes. Doctor can help in short listing and then pinpointing the actual cause by going into complaints, clinical examination and may be different investigations (if found necessary). I don't think there any scientific medicinal remedies from improvement of a normal brain.

It depends upon what kind of brain tumor he has, tumour is a abnormal growth in brain and if possible it should be removed. Some tumors will respond to medications and kindly send me further details about his tumour.

Brain tumours present as headache with or without vomiting. Fits or seizures, neurological deficit, paralysis, loss of memory or abnormal function. Any of above may be initial symptoms. You have to get mri done. If any suspicious lesion then surgery to diagnose brain tumour.

Rivotril is one of the common medicine being prescribed for insomnia and anxiety. If taken under medical supervision it is safe but may (not necessarily) cause development of dependence if taken beyond prescription.
There are other better medicines for anxiety which are not addictive and habit forming.
I would suggest you to meet a qualified psychiatrist for detailed discussion. He may advise you some relaxation techniques and psychological intervention.
