Dear lybrate-user, Stone in the right kidney is small, you can observe for spontaneous passage.
On left side, I presume you mean stone is in the ureter. Then you have to do some imaging like CT Urography Or IVP to see if their is swelling in the kidney (Hydronephrosis). If there is Hydronephrosis and at the same time if you are symptomatic then you need removal of stone.
But about 25 to 30% of ureteric stone of 6.5 mm can pass spontaneously or with medicines also.

active bladder occurs with age too. So depeding on cause of such treatment modalities are there.
In men it can be due to enlarged prostate then please kindly consult a surgeon.
So cause is important.
But lifestyle changes are also important like keeping a check on not to drink too much water consciously. Healthy diet .keep a check on weight.
