Hi, diprovate rd is a steroid cream and can be used only under doctor's supervision, for a short period of time. It is not meant to be used on facial skin. Use kojic cream at night for 2 weeks. Use photostable or neutrogena sunscreen during the day. See a local dermatologist or consult online for further guidance.

Dark spots on the skin, or hyperpigmentation, occur when some areas of the skin produce more melanin than usual. Melanin gives the eyes, skin, and hair their color. Dark spots on the skin are not a cause for concern and do not need treatment, though people may choose to remove them for cosmetic reasons.

hyperpigmentation is caused by an increase in melanin. Melanin is the natural pigment that gives our skin, hair and eyes their color. A number of factors can trigger an increase in melanin production, but the main ones are sun exposure, hormonal influences, age and skin injuries or inflammation.

Always apply a sunscreen in the morning and afternoons and 15-20 mins before going out in the sun. Use a glycolic acid based facewash and consult a dermatologist for further treatment of dark spots. Sunban forte and sunban lotion both are good sunscreens.
