Hello. It is good to know that your sister has recovered well from covid. Steroids are not to be stopped abruptly, it always has to be tapered by decreasing the doses first before stopping it completely. It is unlikely that just with 10 days of low dose steroid she will develop mucormycosis. But an ophthalmologist definitely needs to take a look at the eye first before saying that for sure. Given your age and assuming that you must not be having any comorbid conditions. Doxy for 5 days it is very highly unlikely that you are at risk of developing black fungus.
