Dear Bhooshan,
It depends on whether you get mania or depression, how frequently you get the episodes, how severe the episodes are, how long each episodes last, the understanding of your family, co workers and others about bipolar disorder, etc. Oleanz by itself may not cause any change in sexual performance. Dear lybrate-user,
all these are medicines given for bipolar depression. They are good keeping your daughter in good mood. But all drugs have side effects also. If you consult your psychiatrist periodically, she/he will be able to adjust the dose of licarb, depending on the serum lithium level. Flunil and petril may be stopped after improvement of depression.

Dear Lybrate-User,
the same medicine lithium carbonate will be available in canada, not in the same name (lalithium xr). Please check on the dose, calculate total dose per day and check the strength of the tablet that is available. Take a summary of your husband's treatment and prescription from your doctor, to carry medicines for few months in canada. It is better to find a psychiatrist and check serum lithium level with newer company's lithium carbonate.

Dear lybrate-user,
Yes, with Dicorate e r 1 gm and qutipin s r 100 itself, it will settle down. Please consult your doctor about increase of dose. Dicorate will be 20 mg/lg body weight. Qutipin according to your symptom control and sedation. Since I don't know your weight and the type of work you do as a nurse, only your doctor can make change of dose, if necessary.
