Benefits of Coffee And Its Side Effects Questions

I am 56 & take eltroxin 50 mg. Every day .My recent thyroid report T3, T4,TSH is normal .For past one year there are dark spots on my forehead like age spots. L used to drink excess coffee 2/3 cups a day. Now for past 3 months have stopped having coffee as l got to know that coffee is not good for thyroid. As my forehead is big it looks awful. Is there any remedy for reduction of the spot. Please advice.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Madam it would have been better if you had mentioned actual TSH levels, because I am not sure what is "normal" according to you. It should be around 3 to 4 mU/L, at that level most of the symptoms related to hypothyroidism. As regards the spots on the forehead, first is to get TSH down to normal. Then if the problem persists please do see a skin specialist. Your weight seems to be pretty high, with a BMi of 26.95 kgs/Sq meter (normal < 23 kgs). Your ideal body weight should be around 58 kgs or so. Thanks.

Apne khane pine me mirch masaledaar sabji ka prayog kam kare, subah ya sham adha ghanta tahle, khane ke bad tahale, chai coffee ke sevan na kare, pani khub piye, bhijan me hing ka upyog kare, khanee daal roti, salad, hari sabji jarur le, mattha ya dahi le, raat me ek glass dudh acchi chini mila ke pine se constipation nahi hoga.

You need to do certain changes in your sleeping schedule. You need to sleep preferably on same time. Switch off TV an hour before you go to sleep. Also leave what’s app, face book etc atleastv30 mins before going to sleep. Inculcate habit of reading a book (not from kindle) at bed time. Don’t take nap in daytime. Lead an active life. Do some sort of exercise daily. Finish your meal at least 2 hours before sleep time. It will take time but you will be able to change your sleeping routine.

Dear lybrate-user, - Follow some dietary precautions for your problem: - avoid fried spicy processed and junk foods, also restrict tea, coffee intake to 1-2 cups per day, avoid gas forming foods like milk & milk products, beans, lentils, pulses, citrus fruits, mint, chocolates, aerated drinks - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, take a walk for 5-10 min after meals for proper digestion - take tablet Pan 40, 1 tablet daily half an hour before breakfast - have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion.

I have small hiatal hernia and grade a esophagitis diagnosed 10 years back after eating I feel some urge to spasm in chest region if I belch I feel relived and before I get into bed I feel gas is trapped in lower intestines I feel uncomfortable. You have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3glass of warm water in the morning before brush 2. Take more water in day 3.
