Hello, Thanks for the query. TSH 10.68 mU/L is much higher than expected level when a person is on treatment. In the younger age group it is expected to be around 3 to 4 mU/L, in the older age up to 5 to 6 mU/L is acceptable. It means current dosage of thyroxine is not enough, needs to be increased. Thanks.

Althоugh tomato seeds dо соntаin oxalates, thе levels оf oxalates in thеm аrе nоt high еnоugh (5.3 mg оf oxalates реr 100g оf tomatoes) tо contribute tо kidney stones. Reduce sodium intake. Limit protein from animal source. A check on the consumption of foods rich in oxalate, such as spinach, beets, wheat germ, peanuts, chocolate, coffee, colas, green peppers etc. Is also advisable for people who are prone to form calcium oxalate kidney stones. Take enough calcium. Both calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate stones can be minimized with enough calcium in your diet. Avois almonds n cashew.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Blood in vomitus can occur when there is erosion of the tissue lining of the stomach or small intestine, which leads to ulcer formation resulting in vomiting mixed with blood - take dietary & lifestyle precautions to avoid future complications like bleeding & infection of the peritoneal cavity which can be life threatening - avoid fried, spicy & junk foods, also avoid tea, coffee intake, alcohol & smoking if you do -have cold milk 2-3 times a day, more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, have healthy fats as in fish, nuts, avocados & flax seed powder - chew your food well, have meals on time, do not skip meals, have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion, take a walk after meals for 5-10 min - take medication on time as prescribed by your doctor - get regular check up & follow up done to know the improvement in your condition.

You have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning before brush 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs, chew food properly/ completely, no eating quickly 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. 6. No smoking, chewing gum, and carbonated beverages. 6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad 7. Avoid constipation 8. Use nibu pani (lemon water) 2/ 3 times a day 9. Do not drink/ store water in plastic bottles. 10. Relax and walk for 30 mts daily 11. Take enough rest- do not lie down immediately after eating. Take dinner 3 hrs before sleeping. No late nights 11. Keep your weight under control. 13. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol 15. Reduce physical and mental stress. Maintain healthy life style.
