With this size, and since it is a single polyp, surgery may not be required. However, regular ultrasounds should be done and if the size of number increase, surgery may be recommnedend.
Indigestion or belching may or may not be related to the polyp. You may try medication to relieve symptoms and if you get relief, surgery may not be required at this stage.
