Dear Sajish Kumar all people used to have negative thoughts including psychologists and psychiatrists. It is not an illness to eat tablets.!

But need to check if you have any psychological disorder to be treated, either through psychological therapies or with medicines.

But psychological interventions are possible to deal with your negative thoughts with therapies like CBT.
Good that you recognise your negative thoughts which can be corrected.
Bye take care

Dear lybrate-userji
fear of loosing someone is really frightening. Thoughts arise from your mind and you need to train it to think differently. You can talk to me over it and let me give you some tips of advice and I am sure that you would be better off then. Could you come over a private chat with me and help you out?

Dear Lybrate user
I would suggest you to take your wife for counseling. It can be possibly due to stress. As you have written that she has been treated for the problem but it has persisted. So, it would be helpful if you take her to a counselor.

Try to relax yourself --
exercise. Exercise is one of the most important things you can do to combat stress. Take a few minutes to breathe in and out in slow, deep breaths.
Reduce your caffeine intake. Write it down. Even if 2 lines. Write every single day. Chew gum. Spend time with friends and family. Laugh.
Massage.
Eat a healthy diet.
Pursue one hobby
walk in nature
meditation.
Yoga.
For more details you can consult me.

Hii lybrate-user. Try to keep a busy work life schedule, be busy with work or with people around you. Allow new things to happen in life. Our life rarely goes as per our plans. So wait and accept the way life unfolds with bitter and better surprises that may make you happy in the times to come.
