Dear Lybrate user, clean your mouth with betadine mouthwash 2% for three times a day. Take 10 ml of betadine 2% each time for cleaning. Use soft toothbrush and apply orasep la at the sores. Keep it for atleast 10 to 15 minutes before cleaning your mouth. Repeat this 3 to 4 times a day.

Hey, mouth sores can have varied reasons like some oral infection, decreased intake of water, increased stress or some nutritional deficiencies. So kindly get yourself diagnosed properly before undergoing the treatment. For symptomatic relief you can use dologel or mucopain. Drink lots of water. And stress less.

First of all maintain proper hygiene. Cloth, bed spread etc must be cleaned daily.
Urine and stool must be evacuated properly and much precaution is to be taken each time.
Water beds or air beds can be used for effective management.
Change the position frequently.
Clean the wound properly with dettol. Then do dusting of tankana bhasma over it. Wash the wound regularly with triphala kwath.

keep the ulcer area clean and dry, no pressure should exert there at any point of time, the wound should be debrided if any dead tissue or Slough is present, if pus is there it should be cultured, time to heal depends on size and depth of ulcer, but in months.
