Before surgery they give you anaesthesia.
It causes it to be painless.
After the anaesthesia wears off then it becomes painful.
But they give pain killers.

Hi lybrate-user, the cyt operation should not be so painful. Most of my patients whom I have treated say that the pain was negligible and they continue to work. Surgery wounds usually heal very well within a week unless they are very huge or many cysts are closely placed. Plan for 2nd sitting after the first surgery wound has completely healed, probably after 3-4 weeks. Do contact in case of any guidance required.

16 cm dermoid should be removed by open surgery. During removing a dermoid cyst the contents of the cyst should not be spilled in the abdominal cavity.
If such a big cyst is laparoscopically removed there are chances of spillage.
Therefore it's better to go for open surgery.

Hello-
Post surgical orchitis (swelling of testis) can be managed effectively with the help of ayurvedic medications. Give your genitals a rest, don't indulge in any sexual activities, drink Indian gooseberry juice after meals and apply Pinda taila locally on the testis.
