Hi, weight consists of 4 elements like- muscles, fat ,bone and water. Each element is essential for the body and can be measured by doing a body composition test. A diet high in processed food, saturated fat and fried items with sedentary lifestyle can increase fat mass so the abdomen and lower body can increase. Whereas increase in dietary proteins along with a balanced diet and physical activity can increase the muscle mass giving hypertrophy effect in the arms and legs.

Hello, first of all Congrats on your determination for continuing Brahmacharya, and I can say traditional Indian references always supported it.
Next don't believe on idea of low confidence as you stated, it boosts your self confidence, after you practice it and if you need you can break your cycle at any time.
This is not a compulsion process rather a conscious process..
