A 6 kg weight at 4 months of age is good, your child is normal give him only mother`s milk up to 6 months of age if at all you want to give any suppliment then please give vit. D3 400 iu/day. The diarrhea you mentioned is usually a normal occurance in breast fed babies.

The usefulness of all multivitamin syrups is determined by the general health of the child and review of the dietary intake.

If the child's weight and height for age is fine, general health is ok and diet is adequate and balanced, there is no need to supplement with multivitamin syrups.
