Hi lybrate-user,
6 months is perfect age to introduce semisolid diet.
Usually the gap between 2 meals should be minimum 3hours but still it all depends upon child's demand coz some kids may not even eat for a duration of 4hrs after last meal or some may require feeds every 2hrs. But one thing I will strictly advise never force feed your child. Every meal time should be very relaxed so you can see your child growing happily and confident even.

Hello, a pregnant woman should take utmost caution of what she eats. A nutritious diet rich in proteins, iron, calcium and omega 3 fatty acids is recommended. Overall besides normal food make sure she takes a big glass of milk daily, 2-3 eggs in a week, chicken/ fish twice a week, take 2 helping of fruits and salads daily. Taking 5-6 almonds alone a piece or two of walnuts daily should overall take care of your nutritional requirements. Hope this helps you.

You have to train your baby to accept solid food. Children are not born to take solid food by default. Start with liquids-semi solids-solids, this way baby will learn taking food like an adult.
