Hi, I can understand your concern. Its very common to have enlarged and painful lymph nodes during flu. Most of the time, the local lymph nodes enlarge due to any infection. Though there are other reasons, in your case it closely relates to the associated cold. Hope this answers your query.

Hello lymph nodes in iliac fossa can be due to infection tuberculosis or malignancy. You will require a CECT work up for tuberculosis and other tests. 12 mm lymph node is significant.

You monitor the node. It may be due some infection which may be acute or short origin or chronic like tuberculosis. Sometimes malignancy also present as lymphadenopathy. It's alright to take antibiotics and get it examined. If it remains as it is, we can advise investigations. Please let us know the site of lymph node.

Dear lybrate-user
In addition to the routine pathology report that you have mentioned, additional testing (immunohistochemistry for ER/PR/Her 2neu) is required. Chemotherapy and anti-hormonal therapy are used in the stage of disease that you have mentioned. Exact decision should be taken after getting the IHC reort.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
The most common cause of an underarm lump is a localized infection in the breast, arm, or the armpit itself, such as folliculitis due to an infected hair follicle. Immune system disorders and some types of cancer, such as breast cancer, can also lead to an underarm lump due to swollen lymph nodes.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
