I would advise a core or an open Biopsy of the Axillary node, especially if they are planning chemotherapy due to the Axillary nodes only. It is unusual for a nasopharyngeal carcinoma to spread to the Axillary nodes without any other systemic spread. I would be able to opine better if you could send me all the detailed report.
Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.

Dear lybrate-user,
If it is a Bilateral axillary Lymphadenopathy, it is treatable with homoeopathic medicines without any side-effects but it takes longer time to get permanent cure.
If it is adenoma in the breast, there is no cure for that. You need to remove the adenoma through surgery but there is chance of recurrence and adenomas are benign. It will not cause any harm.
Consult me along with your reports, I will help you with Homoeopathic medicines.
Regrads, Dr. Sravani.

YES it's important to get a breast examination .what's your wife's age.in young women an ultrasound of breast would be required and in women over 40 years. A breast mammogram. This test along with lymph node needle test .or FNAC will be required. There exists a multiple infectious as well as possibility of other diseases including malignancy. Therefore an immediate consultation with a surgeon should be taken. An initial check up with your female gynae doctor can also be taken if she is shy. I ho...more
