After taking the high hormonal emergency pill one gets withdrawal bleeding 5 to 10 days later (means if taken near expected period date it gets delayed), and then a new cycle starts.
If this does not happen as well as the period is missed then do a pregnancy test.

My last menstrual cycle was on 20th nov, I had unprotected sex on 8th dec no ejaculation but took ipill. After 7 days I had some spotting brown discharge and my expected date is 20th dec and on 22nd dec I had heavy bleeding with painful cramps I bleed for 4 days day 1 heavy bleeding flowday 2 light bleeding normal flowday 3 mild spotting bleeding flowday 4 light bleeding normal flow those were my periods? Am I safe from pregnancy? Or it us implantation bleeding? After those 4 days of bleeding after 3 days of that why my lower back is paining. I am scared. Am I safe from pregnancy? Pls help me.

Hi, mene apne husband ke sath protected sex kia tha 4 nov ko mere last periods aaye the 8 oct 2023, mene kam se kam 8 pregnency test kie hai jinme sab negative hi aate hai, and 2 pregnency test mai bahut halki si line t par bhi aari hai to kya iska mtlb mai pregent hu, mene 3 din noresthiterone tablet li thi. Or uske bad3 din wait bhi kya but still abhi tak periods nahi aaye hai kya koi esi tablet hai jis se overnight period aajaaye, ya fir mai pregnent hu?

1) itni tests karne ki jarurat nahi hoti- doubt hai to blood test serum hcg-beta ek baar hi kafi hai.
2) norethisterone bandh karne ke baad 8 din rah dekhni padti hai period ke liye- jo bhi aayega agar pregnancy nahi hai, koi aur problem nahi hai aur dose barabar jyada din liya hai to. (aapne kam din liya hai)
