Inflammatory smear is very commonly seen in the women of reproductive age group.
It means you have probably vaginitis or cervicitis due to some bacterial infection.

Dear lybrate-user
the protein levels mentioned by you are definitely not normal. These are probably due to an underlying disease. Treatment of the specific disease will bring your protein levels down. Unfortunately there are no drugs which will act only on bringing the protein down. Please share more details of your condition, so I may guide you to more tests if needed to determine your specific condition.
Take care.

1. There is an obstruction (ureterocoele) in the pipe connecting kidney and bladder because of which there is back pressure to kidneys 2. Refer urologist and get surgery as early as possible 3. Kidney once damaged can not be healed no matter how much money you spend 4. Take care, its only minor surgical procedure and your father will be back home in 3 days.

Normal levels are 50-200, so the levels in your mothers case are high. This mean sthere is an inflammation in the intestines.(ibd/ibs) there are mediciens for symptom control, but no real cure. Best way for her would be to have the appropriate diet. Her intestines will be sensitive to some food and she must avoid them. She should avoid spicy, fatty food. A diet change really helps these patients.

You can easily bring it down by taking more carbohydrates and fats in food and less protein. And the reason I am saying easily is because most of the indian vegetarian diets contain the above mentioned proportion.
