Fungal infection tends to affect folds of the skin, moist areas like groins, armpits, mouth, genitals, under the breasts, webs between fingers and toes, etc. Our skin protects us from fungal/yeast attack, but any cut or break in the continuity of the skin can allow penetration of fungus. It gives rise to rash, eruptions, redness, burning, intolerable itching and abnormal discharges at times. Fungal infection tends to last for many years if not treated well. 1. Apply panderm plus ointment twice daily for (1-2 week) 2. Take one tablet of levocetrizine (5 mg) at bed time if itching is severe
3.Thoroughly dry the area after taking bath and keep it dry and sweat free. Apply talcum powder in the area 4.Use loose cotton under wear instead of tight synthetic one
5. Change the under wear daily and use clean and washed one
6.Maintain personal hygiene

Ringworm is not a skin allergy. It is a fungal infection which spreads through contact. Visit your nearest dermatologist. Who will be able to give you the required medications after assessing the extent of infection.
Do not use steroid based creams. Which are given to you by the pharmacist / chemist or friends or neighbours or family members. your problem wil reduce momentarily and wil b complicated even more by use of steroid creams.
Wash your clothes seprate from that of family members...more
