Asked for female, 20 years old from Pune

I'm 20 years old female. My left eye power has sph - 0.50,cyl is - 0.50 and axis is 180 and right eye power has only sph that is - 0.75. And the vision is 6/6 for both eyes. But I have no eye pain, no strain, only blurry vision when the distance of the thing is more. And the axis 180 meaning? Is it bad? Is astigmatism very bad? Is it harmful? Is my eye power is very poor? Is my astigmatism is severe? What should I do? Do I need to wear glasses all the time? Or will it affect my eyes more like will my power increase or decrease after some months? I want to decrease my eye power, to make it constant what can I do?

And I did it. And, now present I recheck up my retina Dr. said your retina is weak. And im 23 years old now I'm willing to take lasik eye surgery to get rid off contact lenses. Get your eyes checked for refractive error and follow up with reports and Apart from taking symptomatic treatment I will suggest you to buy a steam inhaler machine of crescent company and Take a flow of steam (of plain water only) over the forehead through the inhaler and can repeat the process after eight hours as and when required.

Its not a serious issue. But yes when a child has astigmatism he or she has to wear his glasses continously. Prescribed by an ophthalmologist. Get his eye check up done every 6 monthly. For a child dilatation is required to find out the correct amount of refractive error or exact number of glasses. And after 4 days of dilatation get a glasses done. If you notice bend in glass or broken glass. Orr head tilting by him or her. Report to the doctor.

I visited an ophthalmologist yesterday for persistent eye strain and mild dizziness after working on computers, reading and even generally these days. She said that my eye muscles have become weak and there is "decompensation" She checked my eye pressure and said it was "borderline" She said it maybe due to chronic eye Fatigue, b12 deficiency, sleep disorders etc. I have a cylindrical eye power (astigmatism), right eye -0.5 and left eye -0.25. I have no blurred vision, just feel strained and a bit dizzy at times. I have been asked to do some eye exercises as I wake up and prescribed I-site plus and lubrex eye drops for a month. What is the issue here, if I may know? It's very frustrating as I can not work properly. I am an IT engineer.

It could b computer vision syndrome. I mean dry eyes. If you use lubricant eye drops you will b fine.

Hello! I'm 17 years old, and I have been wearing contacts for more than 5 years (I have astigmatism. I don't wear any glasses (just dailies), but I have noticed small blood vessels in my eye. It's not to the point where I look" stoned" but it bothers me and I don't want it to get worst. I act and model and don't want anything to get out of hand. What should I do? Thanks!:)

I too myopia with less power and my husband as good eye sight 6/6. My doubt is? 1. If I plan for next baby does the problem comes to the new sibling. New also get affected. 2. If yes may it will be worst defect. 3. What is the chance of inherit percent as husband has good vision. Please answer my question as clear as possible. Because I m 40 days pregnant. Halo doctor, at the age of 5 or 6, I fell on the ground with a bottle of cold drink, due to which the glass piece of that bottle went into the middle part pupil of my eye, the glass piece was removed by operation, because of this the pupil was dilated since childhood. I had been able to see less with that eye after operation but never had any problem. But 6 months ago suddenly it looks like cataract at middle part of that operated eye. Now I am about to turn 45.
