I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Your bronchial tubes deliver air from your trachea (windpipe) into your lungs. When these tubes become inflamed, mucus can build up. This condition is called bronchitis, and it causes symptoms that can include coughing, shortness of breath, and low fever.

I went to my Dr. complaining of extreme fatigue, weakness, lack of energy. To the point I am not doing daily things when I have an ocd type personality. I started to try & work out hoping to help with the feeling of muscle weakness & I become short of breath very fast. Even doing daily work at home I become short of breath. I do have asthma issues periodically & carry an inhaler but don't have the extreme fatigue, weakness & lack of energy with asthma. She did a chest xray & ekg. The xray results said "the lungs are hyperinflated. The initial read out of the ekg looked normal but the results I received later came back & said "probable left atrial enlargement" when I researched the hyperinlated lungs it seemed like it could be serious but my doctor's notes on my chart simply said "your lungs show signs of your asthma like picture with the hyper inflation. No acute concerns. I know doing my own research online can be dangerous and blow thing out of proportion. My question is. Should I just trust my doctor and do nothing with the fact the xray diagnosed me with hyperinlated lungs and the ekg said probable left atrial enlargement but she does not seem concerned or should I get a second opinion?

Most of the time fatigue can be traced to one or more of your habits or routines, particularly lack of exercise. It's also commonly related to depression. On occasion, fatigue is a symptom of other underlying conditions that require medical treatment.

Dear lybrate-user
breathlessness can not only happen due to asthma alone.
Please check if there are any heart problem, kidney problem and also check the routine blood tests as well.

See a doctor if chest pain keeps coming back, gets worse, or accompanies other symptoms. Pain that lasts for weeks or months is unlikely to be caused by a life-threatening emergency. The issue is more likely related to the muscles or skeletal structure.
