How stable is your knee
r you able to put full wt and have no sensation of knee giving way or buckling then you can wait for few days try physio.
But you vl have to restrict sports n twisting movements at knee
eventually you vl need surgery
normally takes 5-7 days for swelling to subside post surgery
6 months to run jog any sports.

• Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).
• Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment in which knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold.
