1. (eecp) enhanced external counterpulsation may stimulate the opening, or formation of, small branches of blood vessels (collaterals) to create natural bypass around narrowed or blocked arteries. Little expensive non invasive procedure.
2.(ptca) percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty is a minimally invasive procedure to open up blocked coronary arteries, allowing blood to circulate unobstructed to the heart muscle.
