Good Day.. I can understand your concern. There reason for water retention or edema are many. In Ayurvedic terms its an imbalance of Water energy or Kapha in the body. Food, Medicine, your lifestyle, Thought/Overthinking/Depression etc can influence this factor.

Feel free to reach me online to understand the both physical and emotional symptoms to recommend suitable alternative solutions.more

Hi please consult a therapist and doctor, who can find out if you have other issues or symptoms also for insomnia. Before sleep meditate for 5-10 min, take a walk and use your bed only to sleep not for watching tv, mobile etc. Try to calm yourself, try to have thought free mind. All these you will have practice slowly and it will work.
If need further help can connect me on private chat.
Thanks.

Sorry madam no,
but I fear that you might suffer from benzodiazepine dependence which might severely impact your memory in year to come. Please consult a psychiatrist (in person and not teleconsultation) to get detoxification and further treatment.
