rice dal, khichdi Dalia, idali with chatani as sambhar is very spicy. light diet plenty of liquid ors nimbu pani coconut water buttermilk ors is much better than solid.
fruits r better. peal off the fruit than eat.

The problem can be solved only by proper clinical examination by ent specialist for allergy, defect in nostrils, tonsils etc. If necessary correction of defect like growth in nose, septal defect or infected tonsils is to be corrected. Avoid dryness of mouth by consuming by drinking water up to 8-10 glasses daily. No smoking. Antibiotics if advised should be taken in adequate dose for long duration. Early warm saltwater gargling daily night if mildest complaints.

I will suggest first of all you get diagnosed properly for typhhoid. Many physicians diagnose typhoid based on widal test, which in not very sensitive and specific. Get a blood culture done, if you have not taken any antibiotics till now.
