Asked for female, 31 years old from Navi Mumbai

Hi during my scan at 29 weeks pregnancy, my placenta is showing anterior and grade 2 maturity. Also amniotic fluid is 18 cm adequate. Is it something to worry? As per doctor she said only chances of c section is more n early delivery. Please let me know if I should be worried on above report as I am thinking about the same a lot.

Report is completely normal. Some doctors simply push mothers for c section because they will get more money. Please enquire them why there is requirement for c section when report is normal.

We should not comment just based on 14 week scan. Repeat scan after 20 weeks. For the time being, notice if there is any bleeding through vagina and report it immediately. Avoid intercourse and vaginal drugs. Pls try to stay close to hospital.

I'm 4 months pregnant my cervical length is 2.5 cm doctor suggested for stitches but I have anterior low placenta. Is it possible for stitches and I have retroplacental hematoma clot and suffering from brown discharge in this situation stitches is possible r not.

The question is whether should be done or not?
For sure only examining gynec can decide but I would suggest second opinion as from what you have written I would be against taking the stitch.

Hello doctor, I am 28w 3d pregnant. I have done growth scan today baby weight is 1150 gms and placenta with maturity 0. In my 19 weeks pregnancy report placenta has maturity grade 1. Placenta maturity grade has been decreased from 1 to 0. Is it possible? I heard that maturity grade should be 1 at 28 weeks .what does it mean? Is there any complications with placenta or baby weight?

The anterior placenta would be fine, nothing to worry. Grade 2 – (marginal) the placenta reaches the cervix but doesn't cover it. Grade 3 – (major) the placenta partially covers the cervix. This means that your placenta is still working well.
In your case, your placenta is in the normal stage and it is an improvement of grading coming to 0 from 1 is better for your child.

Normal hai magar bahut sare medical chiz ke liye khud doctor ko prashna karke detail me medical history leni padti hai, check up karna padta hai aur kabhi kabhi reports dekhna padta hai (sirf thoda sa report nahi) isliye doctor ko milo.- obstetrician.

Kitna lower vo important hai jiska description sonologist report me karte hai.
Placnta ki position change nahi hoti, magar dusare part ke growth se comparision me alag position lag shakti hai.

Hey doctor. I'll tell you something wht in my report (placenta appears to be developing fundo anterior. There is evidence of subchorionic haemorrhage measuring approximately 1.7 cc seen at the lower edge of placenta lying over internal os.). So basically this evidence shows december 28 level one ultrasound. And doctor suggested me some medicine and hucog injection. So I wanted to ask you is there any chance of my placenta move up normal direction or my future delivery is c-section. Pls tell me i'm worried about. Now i'm 17 week 3 days pregnant.

Argipreg sachets and high protein diet will help. It will not change placental position. Anterior placenta is ok, do not worry about that.

On june 12 I will enter into 10th month of pregnancy. On my last scanning report delivery date is 15 June. Placenta position is Anterior wall in upper uterine segment. Grading is 2-3. Other findings is Lower Femoral epiphysis have appeared. Est. Wt is 3239 +/- 485 gms . What does it mean is their chances for normal delivery or not.

Hello, these values are foetal growth parameters and doesn't decide whether it would be a normal or c-section delivery. That has to be evaluated by a per vaginal pelvimetric examination.
