Apply ice /heat twice a day for 3 days for 15 mins each, wear splint and give it a rest, do not pressurize it, if it gets pressure there will not be any improvement.
Visit nearby physiotherapy clinic and take ultrasound therapy for 10 days, this will reduce swelling and removes pain.

Visit nearby physiotherapy clinic and take ultrasound and tens therapy for 2 weeks, apply ice pack for 10-15 mins thrice a day.
Give it a rest, do not put pressure wear ankle brace for support to avoid any pressure on the joint.
For medicines you can consult with orthopaedician.
