You may have piles in the anal region piles are normally four types or grades. You should avoid constipation take balanced diet with plenty of leafy vegetables and cerials and plenty of water by mouth. You should consult a surgeon for assessment and further treatment.

Yes, this could well be piles. Piles of an early grade also improves with general measures. The general measures I would suggest are 1. Take lot of vegetables & fruits in your diet
2. Avoid chillies & spices
3. Take lot of fluids
4. Avoid constipation
5 periodically do anal exercises (alternately contracting & relaxing the buttocks, anal area & upper thighs)
6. Take sitz bath 3-4 times a day. This means sitting in a tub of warm water & doing anal exercises

Go for proctoscopy. In the meantime avoid rich oily junk food. Stool softener may be use if constipation like symptoms appear.

1. Bleeding after passing stool (bright red colour)
2. Pain while passing stool (it may be painless in internal piles)
3. Itching in anal region
4. A lump hanging down outside anus which may need to be pushed back after passing stool
5. Mucus discharge after passing stool
